“2019 CAPT. DANNY S. ENERIO NATIONAL QUALITATIVE RESEARCH CONTEST”

In partnership with the PATH, Capt. Danny S. Enerio is sponsoring a call for papers to be pursued in year 2019. The competition is accessible to all Filipino Senior High School Students enrolled in School-Year 2018-2019 in any of these subjects: Practical Research I, or Inquiries, Investigations and Immersion. This event seeks to give cash and recognition awards to best research proposals among Filipino Senior High School students.

The Committee welcomes paper on any topics cognate to Humanities and Social Sciences areas. Suggested topics may include: Education, Culture, History, and Social Issues

Submissions

  1. The deadline for submission of abstract (250-300 words) and full author details is     30 December 2018. Selection of papers is based on the abstract, and presenters       will be notified whether they have been successful by mid-January 2019.
  2. The full paper is due on 31 March 2019 and must be an original submission not       presented or published elsewhere.
  3. Both abstracts and full papers should be submitted as MS Word file by e-mail.
  4. Papers should be no more than 4,500 words, single spaced in Times New Roman       12 point.
  5. Papers should be in English with an abstract, and the presenter (need not be an         author) must be fluent in English.
  6. Fifteen (15) minutes will be allowed for a summary delivery of the paper in the           Conference using power point presentation; the full written paper is not to be           read.
  7. The author(s) should indicate his/her personal full contact details and include a         brief biographical note with the paper.
  8. Type of proposal may include: Narrative Research, Phenomenology, Ethnography       Research, Grounded Theory, and Case Study.

Evaluation

Selection criteria include the originality and beneficial contributions of the proposed research in Philippine society, national or local. The proposal will be assessed by established educators of PATH.
